Outreach

At the heart of our church is a passion for serving and uplifting our community. Through a range of outreach initiatives, we aim to bring hope, connection, and practical support to people of all ages and walks of life. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

Engaging with Our Senior Citizens

Since 2018, in partnership with CTNA, we have been committed to honouring and caring for the elderly in our community—especially during times when many may feel most alone. Each Christmas Day, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we provide a safe and welcoming space for over 100 senior citizens to enjoy a joyful and heartwarming celebration.

Guests enjoy:

  • A warm, welcoming environment
  • Festive games and social activities
  • A full Christmas dinner and refreshments
  • The tradition of watching the King’s Speech together
  • A thoughtful goodie bag to take home, filled with treats for tea

This event is more than just a meal—it’s a reminder that our elders are seen, loved, and deeply valued.

Poverty Relief & Community Befriending

Our outreach extends throughout the year through practical and compassionate support, aimed at easing the burdens of poverty and loneliness.

Elderly Befriending

We provide companionship and care to isolated senior citizens through regular visits and meaningful conversations. It’s not just about meeting needs—it’s about building friendships.

Refugee Support

We walk alongside refugee individuals and families as they begin their new lives in the UK by offering help with:

  • Navigating community services
  • Filling out essential documents and applications
  • Accessing healthcare, schools, etc.

Youth Engagement

We actively encourage children from refugee families to take part in sports, clubs, and creative activities. This helps them feel included, build confidence, and develop new friendships in a safe, supportive environment.
